When you work as hard as Enertech Global employees work, sometimes you need to have a little fun! In fact, we believe it’s just as important to celebrate our successes as it is to analyze where we need to improve. That’s because our products and services are only as good as the people behind them, and we couldn’t be more proud of the team that we’ve assembled in both our Mitchell and Greenville facilities.
That’s why on Saturday, August 4, 2012, our team in Mitchell gathered for a company picnic for employees and their families. And, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. With temperatures in the 80s, many employees turned out for a relaxing, Hawaiian style retreat. Plant Manager John Kraus manned the grill, employees got to know each other away from work, played games and activities, and even won a few prizes. As you’ll see in the photos below, even President Steve Smith tried his hand at the hula-hoop. We’ll let you decide how he faired from the picture (See the slideshow).
With all of the festivities planned, team members were able to relax and enjoy their time together. Human Resources Assistant Jerolyn Dean commented, “The best part of the picnic was the enthusiasm of the adults and children alike. It is fun to visit with the employees outside of work and to meet their families.”
Dan Jackson, our VP of Operations, also attended the event. “At Enertech, we’re not only interested in having a great business, but we want our team members to lead successful lives,” he said. “I was thrilled to get to know some of our team members better, meet their families, and have some fun. The annual Mitchell picnic is always a great event!”
Thanks to all Enertech Global employees for being upstanding advocates of our brand and creating exceptional products for our customers. Also, we’d like to extend a special thanks to our picnic committee who worked hard to put this event together: Robin Casillas, Sarah Dewald, Jesse Dicus, Della Hammer, Hollie Karber, John Kraus, and Chris Wehrmann. Great work team!
