The holiday season is a busy time for everyone, and Enertech employees are no exception. But even with all the flurry of activity, employees have made time and effort to give back this season. They truly believe that it’s always better to give than to receive. We are incredibly proud of the work that they are doing to make a difference in our community during the holidays.
One way our Greenville employees gave back this season is by taking on “Toys for Joy,” a community program that provides gifts to children in need. In the past, socks, underwear, reading books, coloring books and crayons have been provided as well as various other toys. To participate, employees were encouraged to take an angel from the employee bulletin board and purchase an item for the child listed on the back of the tag. Toys For Joy distribution day is Friday, December 12 at a local church in Greenville.
Greenville employees also came together to support a local family in need with a jeans donation fund. On October 31st there was a tragic accident that claimed the lives of a Greenville resident and three of her children. To help raise funds for this family, Enertech allowed employees to wear jeans starting November 11th through the end of the year if they donated $30 or more.
The Charitable Fund Committee from our Mitchell location also found a way to give back this holiday season by pledging a $200 donation to KMIT/KOOL-98 for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Angel Tree donations make it possible for those in need in the community to have gifts under the tree this year.
Thanks to all Enertech Global team members for sharing your generosity and helping to make this holiday season a little brighter for your communities.
