This time of year it’s easy to get caught up in holiday parties, Christmas shopping, and activities with friends and family. Enertech employees in both Greenville and Mitchell have made an effort to pause to remember those in need this Christmas season. We are incredibly proud of their charitable efforts and generosity.

One way our Greenville employees gave back this season is by taking on “Toys for Joy,” a community program that provides gifts to local children in need. To participate, employees were encouraged to take an angel from the employee bulletin board and purchase an item for the child listed on the back of the tag. We are proud that our employees donate gifts for 25 children!

Greenville employees also came together to support the Salvation Army by volunteering as bell ringers. Over the years, the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign has grown into one of the most recognizable and important charitable campaigns in the United States – providing toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and countless social service programs year-round. Every Christmas season they set up red kettles to collect cash donations and ask volunteers to ring bells near the kettles to attract attention. All of the money raised stays in the local community. Enertech employees took one-hour shifts ringing the bell at our local grocery store on December 8 from 12:30-6:30 p.m.

The Charitable Fund Committee from our Mitchell location also found a way to give back this holiday season by pledging a $345 donation to KMIT/KOOL-98 for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Angel Tree donations make it possible for those in need in the community to have gifts under the tree this year.

Thanks to all Enertech Global team members who participated in these charitable programs this Christmas season. We are proud that Enertech employees are making a difference for those in need!
